Birthday Month
August is my birth month. Happy birthday to me and to all the other lucky people born under the fire sign of Leo and the Chinese Year of the Tiger. I embody some of the traits associated with these Zodiac signs. I’m loyal, maybe to a fault. I’m enthusiastic and I’ve come to realize not everyone appreciates that. I love bright colors. Magenta is an especially good color for me. I’m creative and it has taken decades for me to claim that.
- This birthday reminds me that the road ahead is getting shorter. There are fewer years ahead of me than are behind me, so, I better get done whatever it is that I intend to do.
- My consulting business is good. It’s steady and I’m making a difference for the organizations I work with. I have a solid team that supports the work we do for our clients and I’m deeply grateful for their expertise and professionalism. I plan to continue my work and add more services.
- About Fundraising: The Podcast is evolving. With the help of a podcast coach, I am developing new material and will be posting more often. Stay tuned for that.
- Telos Atelier is my website for my artwork. (https://telosatelier.com/). So now I’m a “serial entrepreneur”! Check it out.
- I’m also a volunteer with a “Friends of” for a local cultural center. There is so much I have no control over, but I do have the skills to grow and develop a nonprofit organization to support art and culture in my community.
I’m sharing all of this with you because I want to inspire you to do, go, be whatever it is you dream about, but feel like you can’t. Yes, there are barriers. So what? You’re smart, you can figure out a way or you can ask a friend, colleague or family member to help you figure it out. I’m not special, I’m just one of the billions of people on this planet trying to make the most of my life and help others as best I can.
